Looks like the South
Guy passed the longitude of Cape Leeuwin, an important stage in his round the world voyage, but for the first time in weeks does not catch up with Jeremy and Ian, who are making an express crossing of the Tasman Sea. The OE32, now barnacle-free, is setting a strong pace for the Tradewind 35, which is being blown south this morning by the strong north easterlies.

Simon, the lone sailor at 49°S will get becalmed tomorrow. He will use the day to prepare Clara for the deep and strong low-pressure that will travel from Point Nemo to Cape Horn tomorrow and cross his path on Friday morning with winds in excess of 40 knots, gusting to 60. Hold fast!
