A big surprise to see Jeremy making great progress into the Azores High directly in front and potentially blocking his way forward. Currently making 4.6kts with a 104 mile day and a more direct course toward the Azores. The sun is shining and the sea is mild so the good days continue. As the high moves NE he may just get more good days!
Capt. Gugg is making 5.5kts with a 132 mile day now heading direct for the Bay of Biscay so he must be happy counting off the miles to Les Sables d’Olonne. These perfect sailing conditions look to hold for the next few days. He will call soon to explain his final run in to the finish! Right now life is good for these final two!
